  1. Season Structure

  • Duration: April 1st - September 30th

  • Initial Setup: Starting team positions drawn randomly on April 1st

  • New Teams: Teams joining after April 1st are added to the last position of the ladder

2.1. Challenges can be made throughout the entire season (April 1st - September 30th)

2.2. Final challenges must be issued by September 15th to ensure matches can be completed by September 30th

3.1 Match Format - Dingles Rules

Basic Dingles Setup:

  • Four players total (two teams of two)

  • Two parallel players (same deuce/ad side) feed simultaneously

  • Each feeds diagonally to the opponent without a ball

  • Two diagonal rallies start at once

  • Whichever rally finishes first calls "Dingles!"

  • The other ball becomes live for full court play

  • To score a point: The team that won their diagonal rally must also win the immediate full-court point

Match Format:

  • Total time: 50 minutes (5 minutes warm-up + 45 minutes play + 5 minutes court cleaning)

  • Sets: First to 10 points per set (win by 2 points)

  • As many sets as possible within the 45-minute play time

  • Winner: Team that wins the most sets

  • Tie: If teams win equal sets, the match is a draw (see 4.4)

3.2 Who Can You Challenge? - Pyramid Structure

  • Teams can challenge those in the same row to their left

  • Teams can challenge those one row above to their right

  • From Position 3 onwards, any team can challenge anyone ahead of them

    Example Pyramid:

    • Team 8 can challenge: 7 (same row, left) and 5 (row above, right)

    • Team 5 can challenge: 4 (same row, left) and 2 (row above, right)

    • Team 2 can challenge: 1 (any position ahead from position 3 onwards)

    • Team 3 can challenge: 1 or 2 (any position ahead from position 3 onwards)

    3.3 Initiating and Scheduling

    • The challenging team must contact the defending team to arrange a match time

    • Time between challenge date and match should not exceed 7 days

    • Both teams should agree on court location and time within this window

    • Court fees: Both teams split the court costs equally

    3.4 Active Challenge Limit

    • Once a challenge is issued, both challenging and defending teams cannot issue or accept another challenge until their current match is completed

    3.5 Interrupted Matches

    • If a match is interrupted before completion, it must be replayed in full within one week

    • No partial scores carry over

    3.6 Weather Cancellations

    • If a match cannot be played due to weather, it must be rescheduled within the original 7-day window

    3.7 Ranking Changes During Pending Match

    • If other matches change ladder positions while your challenge is pending, your match still proceeds

    • You may end up playing for a different position than originally intended
